World premiere in West Virginia
The Debussy Trio gave the world premiere of Gibson’s Ternion Sonata No. 1 on April 15, 2012, in Lewisburg, West Virginia, at the Casasanta Loft (122 N. Court Street), presented by the Casasanta Foundation. The piece was repeated on April 16 at the Alexander Fine Arts Center of Concord University in Athens, WV.
